chiefs - no trent green, depleted offensive line, very inexperienced huard as quarterback
49ers - compared to the last 2 years they are playing some great football, the running and passing game has been very efficent.
I think the 49ers try and jam the line of scrimmage to try and shut down larry johnson, forcing Huard to throw it up. The good news here is the only thing the SF defence is any good at is stopping the run (except last week with that pesky westbrook) so as long as Huard doesn't find his rhythm in the passing game I think the 49ers should take this in a close one. Its a close matchup with whos playing so i'd say whoever wins the turnover battle takes the game

I am a die hard 9ers fan and i think they can pull it out against the chiefs and here's why:
The chiefs have no trent green so inexperience (and frankly awful) Damon Huard has to play.
Also they have no offensive line this year because willie roaf retired so LJ wont be able to run as well as he did last year.
And finally, frank gore has been playing well and Alex Smith is light years past where he was last year.
Look for the upset with a score of 21-17 49ers.

NIners and not just cause I hate the Chiefs. No green, no defense, no offensive line. Gore is going to run wild, Alex Smith will pass decently. It's going to be a high scoring game, but all the Chiefs have are Gonzo and Johnson. Plus I hate the Chiefs.

I like Herm Edwards as the coach of the Chiefs (Thank goodness he left NY before they totally collapsed!) I'm hopin' the Chiefs will win, but that's the lovely part of football.-anybody can win on "Any Given Sunday".

As a Chiefs fan, i might say %. the Chiefs. As a soccer fan, understanding that San Francisco continues to be youthful, and that they won't be waiting to attend to Arrowhead Stadium, i might say take the Chiefs.
