A poor ride beats a proud walk any time.

I think some people just want a vehicle that is reliable enough to get them from A to B when they want to go. Other stuff is perhaps more important to them.

Some people see buying a nice car (apart from the seriously expensive models) as a waste of money, because it drops in value the minute you drive it from the dealer's forecourt.

Some people just don't have the funds to spend on a nice car, and have to prioritise their money for other living expenses.

So I don't think any less of someone just because they have a junkie car.

I have the most respect for people that have an old, ratty, classic car, that they drive everyday, and work on it, to improve it as they can afford to do so. I have always done this myself.

I am not materialistic, so I don't look at what a person drives, I look at the person. Also a person has to earn my respect, I don't just give it cause of the car they drive.
