Are there gonna be any crowds? If so, what are the ages? Make sure that you play the songs according to your crowd. For instance, since you're 16 and if you're playing infront of people of your age, Fade to Black sounds good, then why not try Patience - GnR (great riff's and laid back vocals). Or go old-skool, like Hotel California (you can't go wrong with Eagles). But remember, performance must be entertaining to the crowd, and not just for you guys to show off or to just enjoy yourselves...I'm a performer too

All the best dude!

Hotel California, by the Eagles.

One of the most AWESOME guitar solos evaaar.

I tend to lean towards Pink Floyd, but the Hotel California riff popped in my head. Make sure you have a strong percussionist!
