My bf is wonderfu I love him very much.We have been together for some time now.My only problem is his ex.they are "close friends" she says he is her protector & uses him for a shoulder to cry on when her relationships are bad.He told me she was his first love but it ended because she cheated.Since then he states she has made advances to get back together but he always pushes her away,he doesn't see her the same and been yrs. since they have seen each other.He still has a special place for her.At first I didn't think much in them talking on the phone but time passed & more and more phone calls & it seemed that she called when I wasn't around.They did keep in contact thru the phone and emails but it stopped when he realized how upset I got about it all he deleted her email and phone#. he showed me a letter where they talked about feelings&her professing her love. Him hiding that they talked about stuff like that after I said I didn't want them to loose their friendship just hurt&betrayed

It seems like you have a good man and he is friends with her because she meant a lot to him at a certain time in his life. I understand your concerns because she seems to be a very dishonest person. Talk to your man be upfront, let him know that you trust him, however you think that their closeness is a henderance on your relationship. I'm sure he's the kind of man that will put you first and will give the hoochie the boot or at least distance himself from her. I hope all works out for you two!

Yes. If your man is talking to another female then it is possible he has feelings for her. Ecspecialy if she has told him she still has feelings for him.
Put yourself in his shoes. If another man was claiming he loved you, wouldn't it make you feel good? At least a little, despite how much you love your current man. Another woman showing your man love can only be a problem. Temptation is a *****. What if you get intoa fight one day, who do you think he is going to turn to? He has a plan B and that's not cool. You need to tell him it's you or her. If he puts up a big fight, get rid of him. No such thing as an ex girl being a mans best friend.

He is giving her mixed signals. Why else would she keep hanging on? Their relationship needs distance. Otherwise, I think that he is inviting trouble. You are right to worry.

you should at LEAST tell him how it (understandably) makes you uncomfortable to know that she keeps trying to get him to take her back. that's a horrible situation.
