Why is he acting this way?

Question

I am currently 27wks pregnant, and I am finding myself much more attracted to my partner than usual, However, the feeling does not seem mutual. I have expressed concern to him over the last few months, but it always seems to come back to this. Me feeling like dirt because I don't feel attractive.

This is not my first pregnancy, so this feeling is new, I have not felt this before. Let me tell you, if my man was sitting on the couch naked staring at me, I would be all over him. Me on the other hand, I sit there for hours going unnoticed. Just last night I was 1/2 naked on the couch, he glanced at me once, then just turned away like I didn't matter. It happens often and it makes me feel terrible. As I said, I have talked to him about this but to no avail....any suggestions???

when my wife was pregnant with number 3, oral became especially fun late in the pregnancy because of the pressure down there making that part of her far more sensitive to a light touch....

Did this happen (with this same partner) in your first pregnancy?
Although we both knew it wasn't true, my husband was afraid he might hurt the baby (or start contractions way too early) if we got involved sexually -- once the pregnancy started to show.
He did tell me he still found me attractive, belly and all! So maybe if your guy would say something, would that help? And kissing and cuddling in and of itself can be nice...
It IS difficult because your hormones are going all over the place. I have heard from friends that they were never so horny as when they were pregnant.
I hope you two can work this out. The last thing you need when you're pregnant is unnecessary stress!

I am 29 weeks and going through the same thing! When I get off work I change my clothes in fron of my husband and his eyes never move from that damn TV. I'm like "Hello!! Look at me I'm naked" I want to have s e x with him all the time, almost everytime I see him... and he is like "later" Before I got pregnant he would have banged me in my sleep if I didn't wake up to give him some. NOW HE DONT WANT IT!
I told him how I felt. I asked him what was wrong with me and if it was because I was fat and pregnant... he said he was sorry that I had to ask for it and we had amzing sex THAT NIGHT! Now it's back to the way it was. LOL Gotta love them!!

Its a tough time for both partners. She's dealing with hormonal differences and a changing body image, he's probably dealing with the stress of how to make sure to support another person, etc...

When the mood strikes, why don't you tell him you're just going to sit across the room from him and "play" a bit? He might get into a self-service show if you want to put one on... and if not, at least you can take care of yourself! Best of luck in your relationship and good luck with the new baby.

Are you sure your just not feeling this way.I mean like he doesn't notice you or want you and the truth is he does.I know I feel horrible and every time my husband tells me I'm so sexy when I'm pregnant I just give him this look like how can you possibly think this.It may be more you feeling like this than him not actually wanting you.You really need to be straight up with him and ask what the hells going on.It could possibly be work or the fact that your having another baby.He could just be under pressure right now.Good luck.

Girl its ok. idk what you look like but every one was created in the image of God so YOUR BEUTIFUL!!!! Don’t let any one tell you your not! im going to take a stab @ what might be going through ur mans head. I don’t think the reason he looks away when ur sitting on the couch cuz he thinks ur ugly, he may be scared. Ur caring his baby and the thought of it may be too much for him. men are all different. But I have not ever known a man to turn down sex. I don't know what to say. Ask him if he thinks your fat or something. And if the answer is wrong then ditch the dirt bag. Just so you know. Most men think it is very sexy for a women to be pregnant. It is a dominance thing. good luck

I've never been pregnant but I think that it's only normal for man to not be as attractive you woman when they're pregnant, I honestly would feel unattractive myself but remember that what makes a woman sexy as hell is her attitude and the way she carries herself. Don't act desperate or let him see that you are feeling like the ugly duckling. Take care of yourself, wear cute clothes, do your make up the way he likes (some men don't like make up but a little blush with some lip gloss won't hurt), do whatever it takes for you to feel attractive cause that's whats gonna attract him. He might be feeling weird because your pregnant. Some men are less attracted to their women when they are pregnant. The idea of thier baby being inside of you makes them funny.

Some men get turned off by pregnant woman. Some are afraid to hurt the baby.....it could also be not baby related.maybe he's cheating on you.maybe he really doesn't want the baby.
