i bought sims2 today.my pc meets the required specs.
but when i launch the splash screen shows then it crashes.
send error report then comes up... any ideas?

I have Sims 2 for the Nintendo DS; it also freezes up. I bought a second copy; this also freezes up. I think it is a problem with the company nothing else.

emm... Are you sure that your system has meets the minimun requirements ? I remember having the simular problem with prince of persia cause I didn't have a very good sound card ...

thats a similar challenge that got here about to mine.. i wasnt particular what the challenge develop into.. i finished taking section in for awhile and then i had to play again even as i had to enter it develop into high quality. i guess you should of been taking section in it too a lot or some thing

Have had that problem. First make sure your video driver is up to date. Second make sure you have the Sim's updates as well.

You probobly have a slow computer
