If that was the time of those horrible storms (I don't remember the exact dates) the meteorologists did predict rain. However, on Wednesday, when the first storms came through, the severe thunderstorm warnings weren't raised until after we (close to the Mississippi) had already gotten hit and lost power. They also didn't predict the severity of the second set of storms, but again expected rain.
