I use Tide with Febreeze and also use a bounce with febreeze ... I place one sheet of bounce in each drawers to keep the smell last longer ... Also the shelves where I keep my towels too ...

I also put one sheet on the bottom of wastebasket before putting trash bag over it ... It also helps the bathroom smelling fresh ...

I also hang some bounce sheets in the closet and so far it worked (I place 2 sheets on the hanger with clothes pins on it to keep them from falling off the hanger ... I use 3 hangers one on each end and one in the middle ...

Hope this helps ...

I find that it's never the laundry detergent that makes my laundry smell great but the fab softener

This is a good question and this is the honest truth.
I put some of my clothes in storage for 10 months, I washed them gain before I stored them i also used the Gain dryer sheets too. When i took my things out of storage the smelled like they were freshly washed... Gain is the best

I don't like the new ones in the reddish color bottles..

I like Gain too. Gain makes a fabric softener now too with the same fragrance. Maybe the two together would extend fragrance time.
And there's always Febreeze.
Personally, I like little cedar blocks, unopened packets of bath stuff, and even potpourri tied up in a hankie. I like to poke them in different spots in my drawers. Because the scents are different it's always a pleasant surprise to pull out a clean T-shirt with a different scent. (Using the same scent all the time can make it so overfamiliar your nose becomes sort of immune to it.)
