You can try to do things with her, but I don't think she's gonna want to because she's so "snowed-under" over her bf. Until she snaps out of it, you just have to be there for her the best way you can without being to pushy. If she wants to hang with you, then ok, but don't force her because she'll push you away.

Philosophize with her. If we cannot live with ourselves, then how can we live with others? She can take these next couple of months to put herself first, and learn to stand on her own. When her boyfriend comes back she will be a stronger, better person.

If that fails, slap her and tell her that she needs to get a grip.

No…wait, slap her first, tell her this, slap her again, tell her that she’s being silly, and then slap her one last time so drive home your point.

Gee, she can't live for 2 months without him? She DOES need to get a life. Let her know that you will be there for her and that you guys can hang and have a great time, and that you aren't trying to take his place - that you are her friend, not her boyfriend, lol. Lots of luck!

I hate to break it to you, but you're going to have to let her go nuts. If you can't handle it, just don't spend time with her, or limit the time you spend with her. Some people just get silly-stupid over their significant others and there's nothing you can do about it.

tell her to get a life and not to always depened on him cause hes not always gonna be there he needs to get a brain and do things for her self.. tell her to write him everyday.. she should be able to do that no matter where he is going unless hes going to be with another woman..

do u even know why he is leaveing for 2 months. that will be a big help to know how to help her out
