Lets compare atrocities commited by those two religions: christianity and islam

what hitler and other christians did was in the name of a racist ideology... the whole aryan crap... dont forget that many european nations supported hitler... hell, I still see today those with blonde hair and blue eyes look inferiorly to semites......and yet, as we know, the pope did nothing...and it got erased from ur minds

today what alqaeda, hamas, such groups do are in the name of retaliation and getting justice... althought it is filled with rage and extreme actions... nevertheless, u cant suppress their voices than they were already suppressed before...

and yet, what we see today is that the majority of westerners view muslims as inferior, treat them like parasites... call them terrorists...
-----------
just a note: the people who lived in iran did NOT have blue eyes and blond hair.. iran's climate is like any other middle eastern country, lots of sun which produces dark features..

* Muslims danced in the streets and handed out sweets to their kids to celebrate the 9/11 atrocity, and still expected no criticism.
* Since 9/11 Muslims have killed over 26,000 and wounded over 50,000 in terrorist attacks worldwide since 9/11 and expect no criticism.

Since 9/11 Muslims have committed terrorist attacks in Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Chad, Chechnya, Dagestan, Denmark, East Timor, Egypt, England, Eritrea, Ethiopia, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Ingushetia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Jordan-Iraq, Kabardino-Balkans, Kenya, Kosovo, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Mauritania, Morocco, Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Gaza-Palestinian Authority, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Somalia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Arab Republic, United States, Uzbekistan and Yemen, and still expect no criticism.

Muslims have carried out over 5,800 fatal terrorist atrocities since 9/11, and countless thousands since Islamic conquest began in 623 AD and expect no criticism. But if a Pope dares to tell the truth about Islam or Danes publish cartoons about Mohammed, then let the outpourings of Islamic hate and outrage begin.

Recently in a "Religion of Peace Demonstration" in London, you get to see the real side of muslims.

Standing next to idle british policemen signs said such things as
"Behead those who Insult Islam"
"Slay those who insult islam"
"Europe, you will pay, Demolition is on its way!"
"Butcher those who mock Islam!"
"Europe is the Cancer, Islam is the Answer!"
"Islam will dominate the world"
"Freedom can go to hell"
"Europe, take some lessons from 9/11"
"Europe you will pay, your 9/11 is on its way!"
"Be prepared for the -real- holocaust"

Well you make a good point. However the flawed your argument is that the United States, England and their allies did not support Hitler and his ideals. Also Hitlers "master race" was not based on religion alone but a deep hatred of Jews, which if I am not mistaken is the same as Hamas and such groups have.
Now in the last 50 years tell me when did a radical Christian do a suicide bomb in an Islamic area? When did a Christian tell an Islamic country that you have to be tolerant of my religion since I moved here?
Do some people treat Muslims bad yes, but how about how Muslims treat Christians living in a Muslim country? How about the man who converted from Muslim to Christian and was giving the death penalty?
I live in Socal and see and interact with many Muslims and have no problem with them. They often say how the Fanatic minority causes them trouble.
Is that not true for Christian groups as well? The few with the fanatic views do not make up the whole.

To spread terror through out the region would be considered a terrorist! Not a parasite but a terrorist! I think your a little off on your comparison. You still see today Blonde hair and blue eyes looking inferior to Semites? I look down on everyone but then again I'm 6'8" so I have no choice. If you think this world is perfect than you have another thing coming. You will always see hate in someone eyes if they were ever persecuted or raised to hate. Education and time are the only cure for the disease you speak of.

Religions cannot commit atrocities. PEOPLE commit atrocities in the name of a religion. It doesn't matter whether it is Islam, Christianity, or your neighbor's dog that is telling you to kill people... what matters is that you do it.

If you go after all the supposed causes of mayhem, you'll have to shut down music, books, movies, jealousy, wealth, greed, and pretty much all human interaction. And even then I don't think you're likely to succeed.

Forget the cause. The mind is a black box. You don't know what other people are thinking or what really makes them do things. All you can know is that a particular person has done something unacceptable, and resolve what you are going to do about THAT!

Hitler was never a Christian. Learn some history.

Was Hitler a Christian?

By John Baskette - but the information came from Marty Helgesen in a soc.religion.christian post.

The claim is sometimes made that Hitler was a Christian - a Roman Catholic until the day he died. In fact, Hitler rejected Christianity.

The book Hitler's Secret Conversations 1941-1944 published by Farrar, Straus and Young, Inc.first edition, 1953, contains definitive proof of Hitler's real views. The book was published in Britain under the title, _Hitler's Table Talk 1941-1944, which title was used for the Oxford University Press paperback edition in the United States.

All of these are quotes from Adolf Hitler:

Night of 11th-12th July, 1941:

National Socialism and religion cannot exist together.... The heaviest blow that ever struck humanity was the coming of Christianity. Bolshevism is Christianity's illegitimate child. Both are inventions of the Jew. The deliberate lie in the matter of religion was introduced into the world by Christianity.... Let it not be said that Christianity brought man the life of the soul, for that evolution was in the natural order of things. (p 6 & 7)

10th October, 1941, midday:

Christianity is a rebellion against natural law, a protest against nature. Taken to its logical extreme, Christianity would mean the systematic cultivation of the human failure. (p 43)

14th October, 1941, midday:

The best thing is to let Christianity die a natural death.... When understanding of the universe has become widespread... Christian doctrine will be convicted of absurdity.... Christianity has reached the peak of absurdity.... And that's why someday its structure will collapse.... ...the only way to get rid of Christianity is to allow it to die little by little.... Christianity the liar.... We'll see to it that the Churches cannot spread abroad teachings in conflict with the interests of the State. (p 49-52)

19th October, 1941, night:

The reason why the ancient world was so pure, light and serene was that it knew nothing of the two great scourges: the pox and Christianity.

21st October, 1941, midday:

Originally, Christianity was merely an incarnation of Bolshevism, the destroyer.... The decisive falsification of Jesus' doctrine was the work of St.Paul. He gave himself to this work... for the purposes of personal exploitation.... Didn't the world see, carried on right into the Middle Ages, the same old system of martyrs, tortures, *******? Of old, it was in the name of Christianity. Today, it's in the name of Bolshevism. Yesterday the instigator was Saul: the instigator today, Mardochai. Saul was changed into St.Paul, and Mardochai into Karl Marx. By exterminating this pest, we shall do humanity a service of which our soldiers can have no idea. (p 63-65)

13th December, 1941, midnight:

Christianity is an invention of sick brains: one could imagine nothing more senseless, nor any more indecent way of turning the idea of the Godhead into a mockery.... .... When all is said, we have no reason to wish that the Italians and Spaniards should free themselves from the drug of Christianity. Let's be the only people who are immunised against the disease. (p 118 & 119)

14th December, 1941, midday:

Kerrl, with noblest of intentions, wanted to attempt a synthesis between National Socialism and Christianity. I don't believe the thing's possible, and I see the obstacle in Christianity itself.... Pure Christianity-- the Christianity of the catacombs-- is concerned with translating Christian doctrine into facts. It leads quite simply to the annihilation of mankind. It is merely whole-hearted Bolshevism, under a tinsel of metaphysics. (p 119 & 120)

9th April, 1942, dinner:

There is something very unhealthy about Christianity (p 339)

27th February, 1942, midday:

It would always be disagreeable for me to go down to posterity as a man who made concessions in this field. I realize that man, in his imperfection, can commit innumerable errors-- but to devote myself deliberately to errors, that is something I cannot do. I shall never come personally to terms with the Christian lie. Our epoch Uin the next 200 yearse will certainly see the end of the disease of Christianity.... My regret will have been that I couldn't... behold ." (p 278)

I think I would take issue with your labeling of Hitler as a Christian. I'm pretty sure he wasn't. If he was, why did he institute the killing of Catholic priests and other Christian leaders? (Yes, he did.)

in the name of "justice" talk about your one sided argument. first the pope spoke against the atrocities of Hitler, but could do nothing about them. And the muslims invade others land raping them of all they own and then kill them. when we fight back we are the criminals.
