I've been thinking this for years! Who's really prejudice?
This is very true...and for what reason this may be? No one knows....

Someone else besides me finally said it. how many are actually paying attention to this?

There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, Native Americans, etc. and then there are just Americans.

You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction. You call me "White boy," "Cracker," "Honkey," "Whitey," "Caveman" and that's OK.

But when I call you, ******, Kike, Towelhead, Sand-******, camel Jockey, Beaner, ****, or Chink you call me a racist.

You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you, so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?

You have the United ***** College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day. You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day. You have Yom Hashoah You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi You have the NAACP. You have BET.

If we had WET(White Entertainment Television) we'd be racists. If we had a White Pride Day you would call us racists. If we had White History Month, we'd be racists. If we had any organization for only whites to "advance" our lives, we'd be racists.

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who pays for that?

If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships, you know we'd be racists. There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US, yet if there were "White colleges" that would be a racist college.

In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.

You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug-dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.

I am proud. But, you call me a racist.

Why is it that only whites can be racists?

I think every one has been saying that for years. You are right tho. God, if whites had all that, the ACLU would jump so far up our @sses about it. Spread that one around.

What the person below me said about brown pride for Mexicans is used as a symbol in the gangs in which they form. They engrave BP on their sunglasses and so forth to show that they are part of a specific group. I lived on the Mexican border for years, it is not only to show that they are proud to be Mexican, but to show that they are also proud to be a part of the local Mexican gang.
I am sure that the blacks have one too, just as the whites, as he also posted, had KKK.

Minorities and other ethinic groups say that white's are the only one's who can be rasict, just for the fact that we had groups like the KKK. They think that other races' can't be as bad, or do any worse than what the KKK had done. They are sadly misinformed. The Nazi's weree also considered a white hate group, and from there we got skin head's. So that is another one in which they hold against the white race. But look what we have, The most violent gang there is is nothing but Mexicans. Second one come's the blacks. We had put as much as a stop to the KKK and Nazi's and skin head's as we can. BUT because of political correctness and the fear of being viewed as a racist, the people in charge aren't cracking down on those other groups. But to answer your question about why white's are the only one's that are viewed racist is because, for the simple fact, we are white. We are always viewed as the ones who try to tie down other races. Which is wrong on so many different levels. They see us as the only one's who can do wrong to other races. They are more racist now, than the majority of white's, for they think that way. It is the way that they are brought up. They are brought up to believe that white's can't and wouldn't help them at all.

Wow, you had a lot to say there. Where do I even begin??? Let's start with the Million Man March, that wasn't just black men stating they were proud to be black that was a unitiy thing. That was for black men to band together to teach a younger generation that violence isn't the answer to everything and trying to stop gangs, and all that. I think the Million Man March was a wonderful idea.

I think that anyone should be proud of their race regardless of what it is and I don't think anyone gets upset when someone is proud to be who they are???

Yea, black people have BET but you know what? A recent study showed that more white people watch it than black people, and to me CMT (Country Music Television) tell me that's not for white people??

As far as Martin Luther King Day, we have presidents day which I may add have all been WHITE men, so we do have something. Nevermind the fact that Martin Luther King should have his own day, look what he tried to do for the world, and may I add in a non-violent way.

Most of the college funds go to prodimently white children so what's so wrong about having the United ***** College Fund? You state that all they do is rob us and carjack us and etc, then why wouldn't you as a person not want to try and help change the world, P.S. there are just as many white people out there robbing and carjacking also.

I understand your thoughts and sounds like you have had some bad expericences with people of other races so I leave you with this, don't judge a whole race by 1 or 2 experiences.

It's because your ancestors were the dominant race in the land and sadly, they didn't understand the true meaning of culture and race and as such, others were feared and abused.

However, also keep this in mind. In a way, the whites never really did have that rich or prominent a culture compared to say, Asians or Mexicans because the culture kept changing. The blacks still have their street credo and slang even if they don't follow their roots anymore. There is nothing clearly defined that people can say: "Oh, that is SO white!"

In another, your culture is EVERYWHERE!! The influence of democracy, American ideals, the beverly hills suburbia thing is going on everywhere around the world where it can be. So what is white, actually? Everything that is known as merely American, I guess. Unless you want to go the Texan way.
(I'm sorry I'm confusing myself and you but I hope you understand what I mean)

If the culture were to be more clearly defined and not so adaptable, you might have something to uphold beyond mere race because the others have that.

I must agree however that racism on the other end is showing more and more of it's ugly head.

But you gotta look that white people take advantage in a whole different level. You guys go to other countries and kill people over there by the millions.

You guys started it by enslaving and taking advantage of the Indian people. I feel that what goes around comes around. You guys are getting it right now for what happened in the past. You might say that that is in the past. But you guys already took advantage and are fairly well off because of the things like that. The ghetto is the ghetto cause there are more white rich people in the USA.

But at some point in the future when u guys become the minority, and it will happen cause we reproduce like crazy, we will be called racist while u guys can call us anything.
That is the sad part, we cant live together cause of stuff like this, but hopefully one day things will change.

Thank the government. They've been preaching anti-racism for the past couple of decades but haven't the courage to enforce it properly. It's safer to jail a white for hate crimes because that person doesn't have the benefit of their ethnic community to support them. But jail a black person for racially motivated hate and the entire black community will rise up in anger. No politician will risk their fat career by becoming embroiled in a situation such as that. It's easier and safer to pretend to care by preaching to the silent majority than it is by actually doing something about it, especially if it involves a minority group.

That's Affirmative Action for you. Making white people pay for the transgressions their ignorant jackassed ancestors did generations ago.

But a couple of things...

The whole "White Pride" thing. The reason why minorities see it as racist because it has a direct connection to white supremacist groups. When Mexicans say things like "brown pride" it's a reflection of pride in the culture. But because of the really nasty mark that things like the KKK have made in the society, white pride has come to signify white supremacy and that everyone else is inferior.

Besides, there really is no reason to be proud of being "white". Beause that really only represents the color. Had it been something like "Irish Pride" or "English Pride" or "Polish pride", then it'd be something completely different. That's a culture that's being identified with, not simply being 'white'.

Me and my neighbor sat down about a week ago (he's black by the way. Just so that you guys dont think IM racist) and were talking about how the black people are probably going to take over and make EVERYONE else....white/mexican/spanish/irish/whatever slaves, and try to dominate the world.

If you think about it, it's kinda true.

You raise some very interesting questions. Why can't we all be proud of who we are? Why do we need organizations to remind us that we have a proud heritage? Why can't we appreciate each person for their own value and contribution to our life? It's sad that some of the laws and organizations formulated to keep hatred from happening simple promote it. The human race is hard enough, we shouldn't have to run any others.
