Are you or do you know of a heterosexual man that loves shoes? I love them and my step-dad loves to buy them too. He likes to buy a new pair every month or two, especially to match sports outfits & unifoms for basketball.I dont think it makes him a sissy. I need as many repsonses as possible to show my husband that kid is not "weird." p.s he uses allowance, birthday money & rewards for good grades to buy them.

nothing wrong with that. i'm a sneakerhead too! I get about 3 pairs a month, all over 100, for you cheap folk. I got outfits for all my ish, doesn't make me less a man. We all know ladies like guys who dress fly.

My son has to have a new pair it seems like every other week. Everytime he leaves the house he leaves with a wash cloth so that he can wipe his shoes off.

Their is nothing wrong with him at all. Anymore in our society guys want to look good too. They take pride in their appearance just as girls do. Your son may be 'metrosexual' but that's not a bad thing. He's growing up in a different time and it's more common now for boys as well as girls to care about fashion and appearance.

I know LOTS of boys that love SNEAKERS. Some collect them, or have to have latest Jordans or whatever because they want to keep up with the latest style. I think now-a-days its normal and it doesn't necessarily mean that he is a sissy.

Tell him to watch mtv cribs and see all the shoes those people have. As long as they're not girl's shoes I wouldn't worry.
