Hi there. I saw a tv program on how an entire room can look so much different with such furnishings, layout and painting of new colors. but do u personally fancy it? The key point is using old items but at a good bargain.

best wishes.

Believe it or not the old saying is true, one man's trash is another's treasure.

Sure - people get rid of near new condition furniture all the times, and sometimes you can find real antiques at places like Goodwill and they have no clue what they have. Having bought my last couch new, for a large amount of money, only to have it break a few months later- and no one in my house is fat, so it was just poor construction- I'd rathher have a clean used peice that was solidly built.

flea markets are great and you can get great stuff if you know your prices and what you are looking for. I bought a knickknack for one dollar and it turned out to be worth $35, was made in occupied Japan in the 40's. Buy all my garden stuff at flea markets
