My first thought was Comfortably Numb and someone's already mentioned that song. What a coincidence !!
Most Pink Floyd songs were about a confused mind because their first lead singer went crazy with LSD (Sid Barrett, who I think just died recently.)
I always liked Brain Damage - I love playing that on guitar !!

comfortably numb? check out tools cover of it, they made the music sound like what the words are saying in the pink floyd original, its bad! or maybe that whiny papa roach song , something about losing my (something) losing my mind..."
