I use AT&T Yahoo as my ISP and when I signed up with SBC Yahoo I received a 2Wire wireless router/modem. My desktop PC is connected to the 2Wire wireless router/modem and a HP printer. I also have a laptop that I use and can connect to the internet through the 2Wire router/modem.

What are the steps necessary to enable my laptop to print to the HP printer?

Follow this link for step by step instructions on sharing a printer on a Microsoft Windows XP network.
Have both computers and the printer turned on when you start. You will start with the Desktop FIRST.
Whenever you want to print the computer that the printer is physically attached to must be ON and LOGGED into.
