Please do not call Phelps a conservative. I would not even insult liberals by calling him a liberal. All politics aside protesting a funeral is disgusting. How can someone do that is beyond belief. I used to live there and trust me, that organization hates everybody.
Tips on if you can make it out there.
Don't touch anyone in his group because a lot of them are lawyers eager to slap a lawsuit on you.
You do have the right to stand right in front of them holding whatever you want to. For example, a bunch of bikers lined up in front of them holding large American flags.
Do whatever it take to make sure the family of John Bork cannot see these pathetic creatures.

Someone should go out there and give him a stern talking to. I'm glad conservatives hate him now too. They really didn't seem to mind when he was just protesting funerals of people who died of AIDS. Now that he's calling our fallen troops sinners, the cons have changed their tune haven't they?
I saw a bunch of those bikers on the road a few weeks ago. They are an inspiration.

I think he only goes to the funerals of soldiers that were gay doesn't he? But then how would he know?...don't ask and don't tell an all! hmmm!
I think this Phelps character has lost some marbles that is true! The devil does know the bible too, and I'm pretty sure that what he preaches is biblical it is taken too literally, making a bad name for Christianity.
Do not think all Christianity is like this guy, just as you wouldn't make all Muslims out to be terrorists.
Going to a soldiers funeral..gay or not is sacrilegious at best!

Hand them each a soap on the rope. They'll need it where they are going. I think it is now illegal to protest at military funerals.
