Not everyone is cut out to be parents. Those who don't want to be parents shouldn't be and no one has the right to make them feel like crap about it. I would much rather see that the person is making the right choise then see them go out and have a baby and not treat it right

Of course not, having children isn't for everyone. To fulfill life as a human being just do what you feel is right, leave your mark in the world in other ways.
Enjoy life and make sure others do too, just be yourself and have no regrets.

I don't feel that way but it seems like the majority of todays society thinks so.
I am currently weighing the options. I think that having a child can be very selfish at times. If you don't have the proper means to take care of this child, emotionally, financially, etc then you shouldnt have it. Most women grow up thinking their destiny in life is to get married and have children. Lots of women don't stop and think to themselves that maybe having children is NOT for everyone. I could go on and on about this issue, but unfortunatley I don't have the time.
Good question though! Have a great day!

no, some people never have children and they can still have a fulfilling life! why couldn't they? Everyone has opportuinities to make a difference and influence others around them and feel they've made a contribution as a human being. Besides, it's all in how YOU feel about yourself and your life!

Not at all. Not everyone wants to have children, and not everyone wants to get married. This is a personal choice. Single people or childless couples can have very fulfilling lives.

No, however, we do have certain responsibilities. I think we must contribute in some way to insure the survival of the species. Whether you have a child, adopt one, or volunteer as a big brother or sister you should do something to pass on your knowledge and beliefs to the next generation. Or somehow contribute so that children flourish.

No! My one Great - Aunt was single, had no children, and she was a school teacher. She made a difference in young lives. Now those young lives are in their late 50's and early 60's who remember her and speak highly of her on how she made a difference in their lives. Every human being is different, and because of that they make a difference in a different way!

I hope not because I probably wont ever have children. There are more ways to give back to the world without bringing children into it.

Some people yet, others just want to have the experience of having offspring and continuing a legacy.
