I think anytime there is a drop in your levels, you are in the process of a miscarriage. Your levels should double every 2-3 days.

With my first pregnancy, my levels didn't rise that well, so there was some question as to whether the pregnancy was viable. My OB had me get blood tests weekly to check them and when they dropped, an ultrasound confirmed that the pregnancy wasn't viable.

You must have just found out your pregnant for your levels to be that low. I hope that I'm wrong, but please contact your OB to be sure.

in Jan. Mine did the same they went up then all of a sudden they started dropping. They are NOT suppose to drop so yes it could be a bad sign. Yet, keep your head up think positive that is the way to do it!

I think so. Your HCG levels should be doubling each day. When you see a drop, it is not a good sign.

That's what they told me when we kept checking mine. They should double or more than double daily in a normal pregnancy. Have you started bleeding or cramping? Sorry to hear that, sweetie. :(

I would think........I believe it is supposed to double every two days.
Your doctor is the only one that could tell you what might be going on.
