Mahatma Gandhi dental college and hospital (now renamed as MG Post graduate dental institute and hospital, i think!) is the only Govt dental college in Pondicherry. Its having high standards and is the one of the best centre for PG dental education. Getting into for pondicherians is considered as next to getting admission in JIPMER. It can reached from the pondicherry bus stand by boarding into 'Gorimedu' bus or from chennai-Take bypas rider bus to pondy and get down in the Gorimedu check post bus stop. Its do have a hospital with all the facilities attached. Never you have to think twise to join your girlfriend if she doesnt have any other offer for MBBS from a prestigious colleges.
