Angels and Demons is the excellent prequel to the Da Vinci Code. The fictional novel is set in Rome and the plot revolves around a conflict between the Roman Catholic Church and the Illuminati.

Yes, and it was amazing! I actually haven't gotten around to reading the DaVinci Code but Angels and Demons was a great read. It is very intruiging and very cleverly written.

Yeah, i've read it too but in swedish. Loved it! It's so typical Dan Brown plot where the villain is very hard to predict. Could be the nicest character in the whole story that ends up to be the smuck.

I read it and liked it all the way up to the ending which I thought was a little difficult to believe. As for too much hatred towards the Catholic Church, I didnt perceive that at all. But you reap what you sow.

IT's an awesome book, but very similar to DaVinci Code, and all of Brown's other books for that matter. he is very smart and there is a lot of research in all of his books. This one is my favorite, the illustrated version is really cool. They are making this into a movie now. yipee
