It's from the group Breathe (David Glasper, lead singer) and it's called "Hands To Heaven"...
I remember this song was dedicated a lot on a local radio station for military people who had to leave their spouses behind to head to Desert Storm... that would have been maybe 1990 or 91? Sorry if I'm a little off with the year, but I know the artist and title are correct.
