= (-3) x (-2x) + (-3) x 9
= 6x -27

Just multiply the -2x by the -3 and then the 9 by the -3.

-3(-2x + 9)
6x - 27

I think it goes like this -3*-2x + -3*9= 6x - 27 6x=27 /6 x=4.5

-3(-2x + 9) is equal to -3 x -2x ~ (neg time neg = pos)
and -3 x 9 (neg time pos = neg)
(6x + 27)

so therefore you get 6x-27 when you distribute
