i dont know what you are asking for sure, but if my answer doesnt help, you could go to wholenote.com an awesome music site. major chords have a major third interval in the 3 note triad, (I,Or tonic,III, or mediant, and V,or dominant) minor chords have a minor third interval in the triad, i.e. CEG, vs. CeG

whatever major chord you are using, if your playing guitar, flat the 3rd note of the chord and that will be the minor chord
