They are claiming that there was an online random drawing done from members of Yahoo, Aol, MSN etc... and that I won. That I was to contact this person to make arrangements for my money to be sent to me. I've been tole by several people that it's a SCAM!!! Could someone please tell me who to contact to find out wether or not there is such a thing! Thank you for any kind of help I could get or someone I can contact to check this out. Sincerely, Dawn Merrill My e-mail address is pdmserenity@yahoo.com

Its a scam they are counting on your greed to make you stupid enough to give them your personal information.
Try snopes.com.
It sounds like another Nigerian scam.

This is a scam. I received something similiar stating I had won 1 million pounds in a Euro lottery draw. But the long and the short of it is this. You wont win nothing unless you enter into it by buying a ticket. You can not be entered by randomly generated tickets or your email has been picked from a list of hunderds. Trust me, I have researced this with Chamelot. the main organisers over here in the UK. So bin it or spam it.

Scam if it wasn't one. If yahoo had a draw going on they would announce it. If you respond they will respond back saying that you ahve to send an exorbantly large shipping fee sum to them for them to send you the cheque (which will never come) and through a little known shipping company. My faince got one of those and stopped when he got that e-mail (he knew it was a scam but wanted to see how they played it). If they are so rich to give you a great prize, why do they have to ask you to pay delivery? Delete it. Never turst a lotto you never singed up for.

It is a scam. If you have not entered a competition you cannot win, and if you are asked for money up front it is definitely a scam.
