My period (or what I think was my period)came on the 25th of August when it wasn't due until the 10th of September. It was not only about two weeks early but it was also a really light flow and only lasted about 24 hours when usually it lasts 3-4 days. I took a pregnancy test the early part of September and the results were negative. Now it's the 28th of September and my period hasn't come yet (I don't even know when to expect it). Is it possible that I still may be pregnant?

May not be..the irregular period can be due to stress..you may be feeling nervous about whether you r preganant recently and thus can result in irregular flow...

Are you on birth control pills? They can effect your menstrual cycle dramatically. I got pregnant on the pill but didn't realize it until I was 3 mos. along because I was still getting a light flow each month due to the estrogen content. Some people don't have any flow at all on the pill, and also if your on the Dep. shot that could radically disrupt your cycle. Go to the the doctor-a home test in this case is probably not accurate. Best to find out sooner than later if you are, and if you're not, there might be other factors you should find out about, like cysts, fibroid tumors, etc. that can also affect you.

There are a few things that this could be...

If you are really stressed out then your period can come earlier than your expected cycle.

You could have had a miscarriage which would explain the early period you had.

OR you could be pregnant...Take another pregnancy test to make sure or go to your doctors and get one done-takes a little longer.

Good luck!

well, this exact same thing happened with me. i get my period on the exact same day every month. (on the 21st) well, i was getting period like cramps, 2 weeks before the 21st, and i even had the pinkish blood spotting when i went to the bathroom that was about the 15th. anyways to make it short, i am now 6 weeks pregnant. for best results do not take a pregnancy test until the day after you miss your period because of the HCG levels, im thinking you are pregnant, or you can go to google.com and type in ovulation calcullator and it was pop up with some helpful websites, that will tell you when you would'e been ovulating, if you know when you last had sex, its very helpful, thats how i know abuot my little one!!

It's possible, but it's just as likely that some outside factor like stress or diet has affected your cycle. Take another pregnancy test next week, (or go see your doctor and have a blood test taken, which is far more accurate earlier in pregnancy than those pee on a stick pharmacy tests), and just for good measure, start taking folic acid every day. It can't hurt, at any rate.

Take another pregnancy test, it might be positive now. Some don't show until 2 weeks after their missed period.
