These guys are saying yes just because of Portis. What they are missing is Jones's easy schedule coming up. If he can get by SEA this week he has Buffalo, Arizona, (bye), SF, Miami.

Easy as can be. Also the Bears announced that Cedric Benson is playing backup no questions asked, so Jones can stop worrying and he'll be back in the groove in no time.

BTW after those 4 games Jones goes Giants (who've allowed 92 points already in 3 games), NYJets, NE, Min, StL, TB, Det, and GB.........all EASY teams.

Portis will get you lots of TDs and will get lots of carries with Brunell struggling.

All you're losing is Julius Jones (who is being replaced by Marion Barber), Kevin Jones (stuck in a Mike Martz offense which is built for passing), and Maroney (stuck sharing carries with Dillion).

So take the trade and good luck.

Go for it. Portis is gonna be awesome (think Al Saunders> Priest Holmes, Larry Johnson, Marshall Faulk). Thomas Jones will be pretty good. J. Jones and K. Jones haven't shown up this year and Maroney is splitting carries w/ Dillon (Maroney 45 Dillon 41)

Good show on that trade. You get a top 3 rusher and a good Rusher for 2 people who split carriers in JJ and L Maroney and Kevin Jones will not do better then TJ.

This is a win for you all the way around. Good job!
If the league doesn't veto it for you ripping this dude off badly

I would. Portis will score more TD's then the 3 you are giving up put together. T. Jones will be a decent #2 RB.

Absolutely. 2 proven running backs for 2 guys splitting carries, and one who has never really panned out to his rookie year expectations.

Make it so, number 2.
