Has to be said "kitty lover" is an idiot. Most people use the powdered formula so you mix that with water hence needing WATER.
Also, you dont mention your childs age, however u can give water in moderation. Its just empty calories to keep them hydrated.
And keep the water you put in the fridge in an air tight container. For example a sterilyzed juice bottle that will seal out the air and any other stuff in your fridge that you dont want to contaminate the water.
Also, may i suggest putting a box of baking soda in the fridge. That will help to abosrb any funkiness.

I would think it would be fine. I never put just a bottle of water in the fridge, but I would think it would be no different whether it's mixed with formula or not. And no different than the bottle of water sitting out on the counter.

no that is fine. when i had my daughter last year, the health channel on the hospital tv also said that if you store your baby's bottles in the fridge there is no need to heat them up before you give it to the baby. i think it would be fine as long as it is sealed and not exposed in your fridge.

Yes it is okay. Just cover the nipple with a cap. Rickets is caused by a lack of vitamin D.

If your baby is young enough that he cannot drink from a cup (under a year old), under no circumstances and in no weather should you ever be giving him water. Breastmilk is the only fluid he needs. When you give him water, his thirst may be quenched, but so is his appetite. He does not get the fat, protein, and electrolytes from water that he does from breastmilk.

That is perfectly OK as long as you are not putting in and taking it out over and over again where bacteria could build up.
