sturdy question. Like somebody else suggested, he shaves with a mirror reflecting his warmth imaginative and prescient. In Superman for All Seasons, the barber tried to cut back his hair as a gentle guy, and it shattered the scissors. So, hoestly, I even don't have any clue.

This was answered way back in the day in the comics he uses his heat vision and mirrors to cut his hair which brings the question.
If his heat vision is strong enough to cut his hair then how does it come out of his eyeballs?

Unknown to most, he wore a full toupee – so it never needed cutting. I mean, how else could he have looked like Clark AND Superman?

He reflects his laser/heat vision into a mirror at an angle so that he can cut his hair or his beard.
