I know there are plenty of women who have had false pregnancy test and have indeed been pregnant. I tested this morning and it was negative. It is three days before my period is due. My temp is still high, 98.46 this morning. I went to a clinic that gives free test so I don't know how sensitive the test was. The problem is that I went to the same clinic about 7 years ago and got a test before I missed a period and got a positive with my son. Is it possible each pregnancy could be different? Could I have tested early with my son and it showed but test early with another pregnancy and it not show? Has anyone who has been preg more then once had this happen to them?

Yes, if your ovulation was even a day or two off of when you thought it was, it could be too soon to test.

A test at a clinic should be sensitive enough to detect a pregnancy on the day you expect your period. It's not really recommended to test sooner anyway.

Yes! When I was pregnant with my 3rd child I took like 4 or 5 tests! They all were negitive. I my heart I knew I was pregnant. I waited a few days in between tests. I got the home kind, a two pack. Any will do they are all the same. I would at least wait till your period is late though before I go buying tests. Good luck.

When My aunty was pregnant with her 4th baby she never got a pos pregnancy test, she carried the full 9 months and all the tests she did were neg!!
She eventually went for a scan at 18 weeks and thats when pregnancy was confirmed.

sometimes your HCG level is not high enough to show each pregnancy. I done the same with my first two kids they test would come out false then by the time I would get to the doctor I was 2-3 months!
