Nope. Both Republicans and Democrats are here to stay. And I am glad they are. We need political parties to help people be politically active and aware. I just wish people would use some common sense and critical thinking when looking at what BOTH parties say. Neither is perfect, neither is always right. I think that both try to do the best they can, but corruption is a given with power.

There in the question is youre answer Rep are for and by big money . GM & FORD are going broke because they have been alowed to "cook the books " It doesn't cost $20 k to $45k to make a car they were making Huge profits untill the asian caremakers started importing cheaper more reliable cars and the US auto makers can't make as much profit on their cars so they are saying they are loosing money. Now if anyone can tell me how a company is loosing Billions of dollars a year and still have a buesniss I would like to have a buesniss like that . The oil prices are getting lower Y ? Lets think Bush an oil tycoon Dick chaney oil experation tycoon . Hummm People were to their breaking point some weeks ago then boom sharp oil prices drop ,war still in Iraq , crazy people in Iran , oil pipe line rusting in Alaska what changed ? Nothing except people were about to vote. Look for prices to rise again AFTER nov elections . Demercrates are our salvation some are cooky (al gore) some are crazy (michael moore) but all of them really love the people of America and most do have the people's intrest first not big $$. The pres. is Bush VP Pres is Dick but we are getting FU*KED

democracy's days are numbered. the nyt sat on the story about wiretapping before the election... and we all voted for bush again.

free press is not the same as the media... the implication is that the free press is helping you see what the government is doing so your vote matters. media doesn't do that because it is driven by business. i don't think the republicans set out to cheat, but they are taking advantage of the system in a way that sickens the whole thing. if the democrats succumb (if they haven't already) i wonder how much distinction there will be between the parties. there isn't too much left to start with!

No, it just puts us at a disadvantage in hard times........it seems to be a cycle for which party runs the government. I enjoy reading all views, common sense will be restored eventually .

Uh, their days are numbered, but you can't blame it on "money" in the same manner that Dems feel throwing money at things is the answer to problems.

The problem is with their sick, degenerate and depraved ways, not a "lack of money." Please don't misplace the blame, regarding this problem.

And as the above poster points out, Kerry was able to raise lots of money and it didn't even help! Hahahahahahahahahahaha!
