After unprotected sex, it can take anywhere from 2 to 16 days for the sperm to fertilize the egg. So your best bet would be to take one after 16 days, regardless if you've had your period or not. Trust, you can be pregnant and still have your period.

Especially go get tested if you have spotting, cramps and fatigue which are all early signs of pregnancy.

You probably need to wait at least 14 days, or until right about the time that you miss your period. Conception can take place as long as 5 days after intercourse (sperm can live that long in fertile conditions, waiting for ovulation to occur.) Then, after fertilization/conception, it takes another 6-12 days for implantation to occur. Your body does not produce the pregnancy hormone until implantation so there would be no way medically to determine that you've conceived.

14 for a missed period. About 14 for a urine test. I think only 2 days for a blood test
