im dead scared of lizards, especially the house lizards. any tips on how to get rid of them?

Actually, fear of lizards (or other reptiles) would be Herpetophobia, NOT reptilophobia (LOL!!).
As to controlling them, I've heard that having a cat is a good (if somewhat nasty) solution. Also, I've read on-line about this insecticide chalk, laxman rekha, that supposedly works against them as well (though it is meant for things like cockroaches). But the only supplier I can find is in India (link below).
You may need to try and address your phobia, instead -- while I am NOT recommending any individual site on this, searching the web under "cure herpetophobia" brings up several such as the one below. Proceed at own risk, of course!
