The thing is that ALL the women have to decide simultaneously that they're willing to take action. Think about the way women are treated in fundamentalist Islamic countries -- the burka, not being able to set foot outside the home unless accompanied by a male relative, etc. What if all the women in those countries decided not to give birth to live male babies until the situation was rectified? But then, you'd have to get all the women to agree at the same time, and that's not going to happen.

And where exactly should women be placed? Why is it so difficult to realize that the 50's are over? Why can't people just accept that women SHOULD have jobs like men do? Why can't people figure out that a woman's place is not necessarily in the kitchen?

Why is it so difficult for American education to stop raising a country full of morons?

because society has such a gigantic momentum.
to bring about ANY kind of change takes a lot of effort AND takes time.

sorry, but if you are looking for a quick solution here, you are out of luck.

just give it a generation or two.
