it's both sexism and homophobia all in one.
The women were displayed as sexual objects, they still are treated as one as of today. (which makes me sick to the bones)
Plus considering that women don't have penises. The majority that likes lesbians getting it on is mainly male. all they care about is sex. Well not all of them, i ain't!
I asked one guy before why he likes watching lesbians. He goes, "no *****" so it got to me thinking are most heterosexual guys afraid of penises? They must be because they are paranoid and stupid.
Also i don't see why people want to be afraid of homosexuality. i mean, you can look at two heterosexual couples making love and not be bothered by seeing the same sex's sexual organs. But it baffles me that guys would get very stupid and paranoid.

Because straight men are threatened by gay men; they are afraid that gay men will treat straight men the way straight men treat women.
Straight men think that lesbians are aspiring to be like straight men, which they find complimentary.
Straight women tend to be a more accepting of both gay men and lesbians.
Just a theory for SOME of the straight people out there. I know not all straights think this way, 'cuz I've met a lot of cool ones. (Some of my best friends are straight! lol)

I believe that it has a lot to do with male thinking, opinion, and what gets out in the media. Men will think that girl on girl action is hot, but will get "disgusted" when thinking about 2 men. The male opinion is more dominant still all over the world.

I've always believed that it is more accepted because society sees females to be more sensual then males. Therefore the image is easier on the mind.

who knows why, but I would have to go with the women. Almost all hetero guys think its hot..and most girls are ok with it...I dont know. Im a hetero girl and think their both a little hot.
