one quarter of the nation would like to be a published author one day, everyone knows someone writing some sort of book. Will you please let them know about www.canadabookpublisher.com, they produce books at extremely low prices and market them in bookstores nation wide, if your not picked up by a trade publisher meaning your with the other 98% of writers, they're the next best choice.

note. Crew Publishing is the only indy publisher that opens the doors to bookstores because they produce books so cheaply, you can't sell a $25 paperback in bookstores.

That's cool! I've got a friend who writes alot of books, mostly poetry and because of the high cost of publishing he bound and sewed them himself and went book store to bookstore to try and sell it without much luck. I'll pass on the link... thanks.

I would want to know if they are selective about the authors they publish, or do they publish anything that is submitted?
Publishers who will publish anything have no credibility in the world of professional publishing, either with bookstores or libraries.
Bookstores have limited shelf space and cannot afford to have them cluttered up with a lot of stuff that doesn't sell.

when you say nationwide, are you talking about the nation of Canada only?

There are plenty of small publishers that do the same thing in every major city.
