This is based upon their standup or live performances, not movies. If you go by movies it becomes much more difficult. Steve Martin doesn't even focus on comedy in his movies much, but the Jerk was hilarious. Same thing with Levy, not much live material, but a great straight man on film. You didn't include Pryor, but I am assuming that is because he is so far above any other comedian.
