I prefer it to be mutual. Anything else I consider to be twisted love/need.

It would need to be mutual, so no ones in it just to keep the other person from getting hurt. It would be weird to feel like your not loved back. And if they don't love you, there's not a good shot for the relationship working really.........is there?

If it isn't mutual, it isn't going to work. One of you would always be worried that the other would fall in love with somebody and leave.
