Honestly, the only way to know for certain is to visit your ob/gyn. It is possible that you have some sort of infection which is causing the odor you mentioned. It is best to know right away so that treatment can begin as soon as possible.
Even though you are embarrassed, please believe that your ob/gyn has "seen it all." He/she isn't going to think bad of you because of whatever problem you have. He/she is a professional who is there to help you with just this sort of problem.
Good luck and I wish you excellent health!

Don't douche!! That will only make the problem worse. You are washing away your body's natural defenses. You most likely have bacterial vaginosis, which is quite common and sex can bring it on in some women. It is not an STD, but your body losing its natural balance of flora. You should call your gynecologist and get a prescription for it. If you are against going to the doctor, you can try treating it with an over the counter product called RePHresh. Its with the yeast infection/birth control section of your drugstore.

See your Gynecologist. It could be vaginitis or some other infection. Doushing is usually a no no. It washes away natural bacteria you have in your vagina and on your cervix, causing some of the others to overgrow to compensate. This is how we get some of these infections. If you do choose to doush, you should use plain water, not chemicals. If the odor is like vinegar, your vagina naturally produces it as a self cleansing agent, scary as that may seem. But, I would see your doctor just to make sure.

You need to see a gyno, it sounds like you have an infection, which is very common. I dont know if you are having any other symptoms, but if you are definitely see a gyno. Oh and my gyno said Dousching too much will cause this as well as yeast infections and other gross stuff. So only do that after your menstrual cycle, or only use water.

Really woman aren't supposed to douche. The Virgina cleans itself. But if there's a foul odor coming from you Virgina after sex, then you probably have bacterial vaginitis. Go to you gyn and talk to him/her and get checked out before the problem worsens.

Get your self a duche bag and do a water duche every day.. It will help to clear up any infection you may have and also kill the smell. I think sex smells bad anyway so i go and clean up as soon as we are done..Alot of women have problems with yeast infections. so you may want to keep up with the duches for a while. until you are not smelling the oder any more..
buy the bag it only cost about $20 and it is alot cheaper than buying all the chemical filled duches. they may tend to dry you out and cause more problems if you use them to often so water is the best.. make sure it is just warm water and not to hot or cold.. good luck i am sure that this will help it does me

well it could be some kind of infection. it should not smell bad at all. you may want to stop douching cause that takes away all the normal flora in the vagina.
