i need to know like how the the planetmight be affected and what changes whould happen right before we're sucked in does any one have any ideas or theories?

it would be torn into little pieces by the uneven gravitational pull applied to it's different parts way before it is near enough to the black hole to begin talking about it being "sucked in".

If you mean getting sucked into a black hole, gravity would crush us, and the heat of the accresion disk would melt us. Radiation would fry us. Then, we would be sucked in the hole forever.

If you mean if the sun became a blackhole, nothing would happen much. Sure, The lack of heat and light would be difficult to get around, but as long as any asteroids arnt headed for us, we would be in normal orbit. The tricky thing to most people here is the holes gravity. A normal black hole like in basic space can only suck in things that are about 100 miles from it. Thats insanely short in space, since I recall our moon is a greater distance from our surface than that. A supermassive black hole like in the center of galaxies can suck in a great distance...of a few million miles. Mercury is considered close to the sun, and it is 57 million miles from the sun. So we have no fear of black holes what so ever for now.

Black holes don't "suck" any more than a power outlet sucks water from a sink contrary to Sci-Fi movies. A black hole has immense gravity and at a point called the "event horizon" once crossed, it's gravity is too strong for anything to escape.
If the Earth crossed the Event Horizon of a black hole, it would be ripped into a string of subatomic particles and incorperated to the mass of the black hole in a singularity.

Seriously, the black hole would probably fall right through the centre of the Earth (assuming it was not larger than the Earth itself) and suck the planet away from the centre. We would not be aware of it, as we'd be fried by radiation very swiftly. 20 million chest X-rays a second or so, I guess without doing any calculations.

If you could somehow remain conscious, you would never experience passing the event horizon! Relativistic effects would slow down time for you and you'd be stuck forever, stretched into a thin ribbon, for all eternity.

Like I say: it would reeeeeeeally suck.

you'd get tidal forces. Tidal forces happen because the front of an object is pulled harder by gravity, than the back of it. The closer the pulling object, the bigger those forces tend to be. And the more massive the pulling object is, also.

a black hole is not just massive (you have large ones, and small ones), but it is very concentrated. So you can get quite close to it, relative to its mass (for example, for the Earth to be a black hole, it would have to be concentrated in a sphere of about 1/3rd of an inch!)

so as you get near the black hole, the tidal forces become very, very strong. They rip apart the planet, then the bits of planet, then bits the size of human beings, then bits of human beings, etc. Needless to say that would cause a lot of mayhem even before human beings started to be ripped apart. And by the time we'd get close to the even horizon of the black hole, there wouldn't be anyone to watch.

okay. not entirely correct. if we tried our luck with one of those supermassive black holes, of the kind to be found at the center of most galaxies (if not all), the upside would be that given their huge size, relative to us, the tidal forces would be less, and smaller bits (say, human beings) would have better chances of NOT being ripped apart by tidal forces.

Well think of it like this; everything you know would be turned inside out and upside down and then sees to exists as we know or understand. the last thing people would see is the sky getting dark and lighting flashes before earth would be drawn into the black hole. and yes the event horizon would indeed happen

being that black holes are still theoretical in many views, and even when accepted, they are not understood, its almost impossible to say, but the world would condense into the size of a pea by some estimates, and might be converted to certain radiations, which black holes do emit.

The Earth would be ripped to shreds by tidal forces (as would we), and the whole mess would be reduced to a quantum foam, just like everything else at the singularity.
