I started to lightly bleed 10 days after we had sex. I already missed my "expected" period. They say that the egg implants itself 6-12 days past ovulation, but the question is, "If I was to bleed from implantation, would it start right away or take a few days to actually shed the blood?"

It sounds like you did experience implantation bleeding. It takes 6 to 12 days for the egg to attach to the lining of the uterus. Implantation bleeding can start right away. As soon as the egg is attaching to the uterus, implantation bleeding can occur. It is usually a pinkish or brownish color.

IT TAKE 2-3 OR 7-8 DAYS FOR IMPLANTATION BLEEDING TO OCCUR
THATS WHEN THE EMBRYON CONNECTS TO YOUR UTERUS AND CAUSES THE LIGHT BLEEDING.
IT WOULD NOT START RIGHT AWAY .\
IN IT LAST 2 -3 DAYS AS WELL

GOOD LUCK
