Get an audio cable. Plug one end into speaker or line out jack on the computer. Plug the other end in to the line in jack on the stereo receiver. That's it!

If you have a wireless network adapter and iTunes, you can get an Apple Airport Express. That is a little plug adapter box with 802.11 WiFi (aka AirPort) which includes a headphone jack. You can redirect the audio output from iTunes wirelessly to the AirPort Express and from there into your stereo. It's slick!
