Their economy is like everything down the Gov controlled. The difference between lower class & upper class is HUGE basicly no middle class.A private person can not have an opertunity to be sucesful without the Gov help wich means the Gov gets a big share of the profits.Did you know that Mexico has vast oil reserves and that some believe that they have almost as much oil as Saudi Arariba ? People can't drill ONLY the Gov. can explore for oil drill for oil and such. Thats why we have all those off shore rigs down there.People are very poor in Mexico not because they don't want to work but because the Gov is strangling them .

Did you mean to ask "what kind of government"?
Mexico's' economy sucks...a very poor and corrupt economy.
Their form of government is basically socialist, with a dash of communist thrown in just to keep the poor poor and the rich rich.

Hard to tell if they have any the way they are sending people into the US, I thought their economy was based on what the illegal immigrants send back!

Corrupt. Very, very corrupt. Think of the Mafia having their own country, thats Mexico. Why else do so many of the people run up here.
