My second daughter also started having hers a few months ago. It is normal for the cycle to be irregular for the first couple of years. The only time you will need to worry is if her cycle stops all together.

Yes, it's normal. Some girls' cycles take a while to become regular, and some women's cycles are always irregular. If she's thin and active in a lot of sports, that's probably the reason she's not having a period every month. There are other reasons too, but that one's the most common.

oh yeah, you have to have 14% body fat to have a period, since she is young her weight may be fluctuating with the changes therefore if her fat drops below 14% she wont menstruate. But its normal anyways, when i started i skipped 6 months then i got it like ever 15 days every 40 days, it has a mind of its own for a while.

yes its very normal of course, she might suffer also from the absence of period for several times untill she finally have it come on a regular bases, and this is a very normal thing happens to many girls, but if you noticed something unusual like extreme pain or a strange change of the blood colour, she needs to see a doctor, because although it could be a normal hormone disturbance, it also might need a special medical care.

usually the first year or so, her period will be irregular, she may skip a month, or within a month she can get periods that last up to two weeks.
it will stabilize as the years go by.

aboslutely it is normal. If she has just started, her body may not have developed the cycle yet. It will take maybe a year to be regular maybe less each child is different.

at the beginning yes, that is normal, but if it keeps not being regular there are medical steps to take, maybe she may have a cyst or a uti infection
