Witch hazel applied topically, has astringent and healing properties, and relieves itching. Good for hemorrhoids and phlebitits. Very useful in skin care.

Y'know that's a good question. there's been a bottle of witch hazel in my parents closet since I was a little kid. I never knew what it was for...

I personally use it as an astringent after I take my makeup off...much less harsh that sea breeze.Doesn't have an odor either..you should try it!

My mom used to use that for pimples and to remove black heads, other than that, you sure don't hear much about it these days.
