If so, how many people have you banned?

I've actually banned none, personally, but lead moderator has. I think I can recall about 8-10 people banned (maybe a couple I didn't witness) and all of them were for spammers *who post in the wrong forum*; we actually have a "Spam Can" where spammers can spam their little hearts out.

But that's maybe 10-15 out of about 24k members. We have yet to ban people for just being 'less enlightened' or having 'unpopular' opinions; those folks usually get the picture that they're generally not welcome and just stop posting.

However, even in that above number, some of those are mulitple bans; some folks can be persistent, just joining back up under a new name and stuff if they want to get their 'last word' in on a flame war. But then that's moot because we'll just lock the debated thread(s).
