Can you trust someone the first time you meet them?
I think trust should be something you earn what do you think?

Trust should be earned, not just given, it's a matter of self-respect for both parties. I don't give out trust as easily as I used to in my younger years. I have very few "friends", however I have quite a few acquaintances.

You can get a gut feeling about someone the first time you meet them...but trust? No. Trust is def something you earn.

A lot of times you can't trust people you've known for years. You just never really know anyone. So no, you can't trust someone you've just met.

Good point.
Although immediate trust should be also used from time to time. It's just necessary to keep the social fabric rolling.
