No, you are definately not overreacting. Health is a serious issue, and should be taken seriously. I say that you should call her physician and see what he or she thinks.

Jenn, bless her heart, and yours too. Please take her to the doctor. I mean having one period is bad enough for a young girl, but to have two. No, make that appointment today. I started when I was 15, everyone around was having their's and I felt left out. If I had only known....seriously, take your daughter to a doctor that is understanding of young girls and is sensitive. My daughter's first time to go was recently, and I called the doctor and spoke to her myself before taking my daughter in. The doctor sat down and spoke with her, and really was caring and concerned. I only hope and pray you have such a doctor around your area. You aren't overreacting, your a Mom and you love your daughter. That's what Mom are for! So, make the call....

God bless us all..............

When I was that age I also started. I was scared. But it is normal for girls that young to have irregular periods. Just take her to her regualr doctor he might be able to give her something to regulate her cycles. But it is normal to have irregual periods.

I've heard of this before and many people link it to the hormones that are given to dairy cattle to increase the production of milk. Supposedly, these same hormones foster premature development in young girls.
