I can't understand what has possessed him to approve government subsidized abortion for poor black women. What a bad move. He then came out for federalized medical care for everyone earning 0 to $30.000 a year and went to the Hill to lobby for tax reform to put a 50% tax on everyone making over $200,000 a year. And would you believe he has vowed to subsidize American industries to make autos and electronics in America and employ Americans in decent jobs. The most amazing thing he sent to congress is that All American service men and women will get a 50,000 bonus for every year they serve overseas and the Government will pick up all their family's total medical costs and living expenses up to 150,000 dollars a year. He said he wants people who are now homeless to be given a 5000 dollar a month check to help them to achieve poverty level amenities. This is very nice and some have said that he has indeed found Jesus. Praise the Lord.

I think its for two reasons; one, he has learned that his mistakes in over seas missions has not been the most popular of thought, as it was when he started the War on Terror. He has learned, as all presidents do, that with age comes expereince, with experience comes modificaitons.
two- the mid term elctions are coming up, he needs to moderate the Right wing voice as to make the elcetions more plausible for othe rRep trying to gain seats, or retain them. This man can make or break the next congress; his overly aggressive stances might be the thing that either turns people away from all Republicans, or keeps them close; chances, are its the first, not the second, result.
bytheway- I dont really think he is Left-ing at all. If he were, he would be pro -abortion, pro -troop withdrawl, and pro -Hillary, anti -oil. Thats not happening; he is less vocally militant, yes, but thats not the same as less staunch.
