Ever wonder what it would be like to be some object?

Question

I dunno if I have read too much sci-fi, or just have other more serious issues, but I often wonder what it would be like to be some other form, especially an object, but still have my senses and mind contained inside it.

What does a park bench experience? What is it like to be clothing, and be worn, and then washed? Is it totally dreadful to be a tissue, waiting for someone to use you?

Feel free to answer, or just insult me for being a whacko. I will not report any isults (unless they use profanity).

I would not like to be one of those bungee type rides at an amusement park. At first everyone would I was cool from a distance, but when they actually got into me, they would hate me, wish they had never seen me. Then they take this reluctant person and stretch me painfully and snap my arm free. here's the worst part..I do not get to throw the hater!! I have to keep a hold of him\her as they scream and wail.

By the time they calm down and my arm is good again, the fool decides it was so fun, they wanna do it again.


Okay, here's another. It would be alright to be a dandelion bloom. A dandelion is the most secretly loved bloom in the world. When the days of spring as still kind of dark, the bloom waits, waits, waits. On the first day it is warm and sunny, it opens and blinds us all with hope of warmth and color. It shines on and on, maybe getting tickled by a bee or rubbed on child's chin, or collect for a Mother's Day bouquet by grubby little fingers that have no money...and would those fates be so bad, no....but one day the bloom fades, falters, withers and the next day, like a 4th of July explosion, it fragments into a million tiny seeds on the wind, free of the ground....
