A. I've been around a long time and I've never seen anyone as universally hated as George W. Bush. I think the last time a US President had this low an approval rating was Andrew Johnson.
There is another side to this story as well, it's not just dislike, it's an utter and complete lack of respect as well. Generally, the President at least gets some respect even if people don't like him but Dubya is a big joke and he has made the entire Republican party a joke as well.
It's gonna be a long two years.
